The Federal Government of Nigeria has extended the enrollment date for the ongoing N-Power Program which started on June 26th to August 8, 2020.
The statement which was disclosed by Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development; Sadiya Umar-Farouq via Twitter yesterday, says over five million applications have been received so far.
In the Batch C N-Power scheme, Federal Government plans to enrol 400,000 applicants.
Recall that the N-Power Batch A and B held a rally at the National Assembly Complex last week asking Federal Government to employ them and pay them a grant of 600,000 each as they exit the scheme.
Reacting to that, the Minister said the demands are being reviewed and will be addressed as practically possible.
