As so many leaders have have continued to ignore unemployment pandemic, the Executive Governor of Ondo State; Barrister Rotimi Akeredolu has exempted himself as he raised an alarm to the world leaders, making it clear that unemployment is going to be another worse pandemic that will tripple the hardship the world is experiencing currently.
“we never prepared for the coronavirus pandemic but we can as soon as possible begin to make urgent preparations for the unemployment pandemic which is staring us in the face” he said.
Governor Akeredolu at the official appointment of Summy Smart Francis as his Special Adviser on Entrepreneurship Development, indicated that entrepreneurship is a major weapon to tackle the scourge of unemployment in Nigeria.
He further buttress that Summy Francis who is an indigene of Ode-Irele LGA of the state, and has in several ways proven beyond reasonable doubts, that he is a competent comrade whose enormous track record in entrepreneurship development, empowerment, advocacy and literacy in Africa, is in the best position to pilot such a vital portfolio in the Sunshine State.
Naija-best.com gathered that Mr. Francis, is a young social and serial entrepreneur who was recently awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Entrepreneurship by the Brooklyn TB University, Unites States of America; is the CEO the President of the world’s largest Entrepreneurship Network. Summy is the founder of Africa’s foremost Entrepreneurship organization; Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs (A.Y.E). His expertise and experience in the world of entrepreneurship development has excellently led to the creation of several initiatives across the continent aimed at promoting job creation and eradicating poverty, these have in numerous ways stand him out.
He has done it for Africa, now it’s time for him to come and do it for his home state and fatherland.
Acknowledging Mr Smart’s competence in his field, Governor Akeredolu says he has done it for Africa at large, it is time for him to come and do it for his motherland. He also stated categorically that his appointment as Special Adviser to the Governor on Entrepreneurship Development takes effect immediately and he is expected to get to work with immediate effect.
